What a year. Today, I received a copy of the Alaska State Medical Association newsletter in my mailbox, and it caps off an incredible year for physicians in our battle against MOC. What started as a small group of docs emailing each other in frustration has grown into an unstoppable movement that now officially extends beyond the “Lower 48”.
Everything is moving so fast that I can’t keep track of all the state medical societies with official policy opposing MOC for licensure, hospital privileges, and insurance participation.
Happy New Year docs, if this news out of Alaska is any indication…it’s going to be a very exciting year of positive change for physicians.
